Jyoti Group was established by Maniharsha Jyoti in the 1960s. Over the generations, the group has grown by leaps and bounds. Today, it has emerged as an industrial and trading powerhouse, bringing in its wake economic development for the entire nation.

Currently, under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Roop Jyoti, Jyoti Group offers a diverse range of products and services. It is involved in core industries such as iron and steel, oxygen and textile yarn, and marketing of renowned brands of vehicles, tractors, construction equipment, medicine, and consumer electronics. It also provides finance, health and travel related services. Today, each of its companies is a market pioneer in their category. The Jyoti Group has over 2,000 employees and it has its branches, showrooms, factories, depots, and workshops all over Nepal to cater to its customers. In addition, Jyoti Group has also invested in hydro power, non-life insurance, hospital, and banking sector.

ज्योति समूहको स्थापना मणिहर्ष ज्योतिद्वारा १९६० को दशकमा गरिएको थियो । पुस्तैपिच्छे यस समूहले द्रुत गतिमा विकास गरिरह्यो र आज यस समूहले आफूलाइ समग्र राष्ट्रको आर्थिक विकासको तथा उद्योग र वाणिज्य क्षेत्रको शक्तिकेन्द्रको रूपमा उदाएको छ ।
